Chi Va Chi Sau Ka Full Marathi Movie Online

While movie makers are busy creating whimsical tales to waste our cash on, seasoned storyteller Paresh Mokashi brings yet another grounded tale picturing family drama blended with comedy and romance. Chi Va Chi Sau Ka is Mokashi’s latest work that is making its presence felt across the masses ever since its release. The film showcases the age old arranged marriage setup with a twist.

Featuring Lalit Prabhakar and Mrinmayee Godbole as the protagonists, we have Satyaprakash (Satya) and Savitri (Savi) in their late 20’s who are least interested settling down. Worried like any other Indian parents are their families, who are having a hard time to convince the two.

Lost in their professional life, very little do the two social activists know that their paths have to cross, until their parents find them as a suitable match.

Instead of going by the parents’ decision, bold Savi takes a stand and leaves the families in utter shock. She insists on getting into a ‘non-physical’ live-in relationship with Satya for at least 2 months before tying the knot.

However, this is not all. Satya’s hip and witty, widowed grandmother has a secret love affair with her childhood friend against her son’s wishes. When she learns about her grandson’s decision, she’s proud of him.

Though difficult, Satya decides to give up eating non-veg for 2 months and adjusts to Savi’s needs. Savi cuts off her water usage to support Satya’s ideology.

And that they are inseparable.

The film ends happily concluding that times have changed. Society has changed. People don’t view live-in relationship before marriage as a taboo as long as two individuals get into a healthy relationship. And to such, moral support from their family is very essential.

Chi Va Chi Sau Ka Movie Review:

Like most of the Marathi-speaking folks I too had a hard time to remember the name in English. Only after reading it in Marathi did I realize that it is an abbreviation addressing a bachelor and bachelorette.

Satya appears all sensible until he gives up consuming non-veg on Savi’s demand, as if veggies are lifeless. Again, Savi can’t do much when he is killing the mosquitoes at home.

Also, any guy’s parents would expect his better half to contribute to the household chores. If not completely than at least a bit as a part of the family. But Savi is not expected at all, which is too good to accept in reality.

The loud quarrels reminded me of the movie Kapoors & Sons. Only gets annoying with time.

Like any other typical Indian movie, the story shows the guy has past affairs but the girl doesn’t. Also, majority of Indian men are not comfortable staying at their wife’s maternal home. Savi’s thought of moving into Satya’s house and not considering him to move into hers, only fuels the worn out mentality of most of our desi folks.
